About The Barge
Welcome...
Welcome to The Belfast Barge, Northern Ireland’s only floating live music, culture and arts venue. Moored in the heart of the city on the River Lagan at Lanyon Quay. The Barge is owned by the not-for-profit charity Lagan Legacy.
Our old Dutch barge the MV CONFIANCE was built in 1960 and was sailed to Belfast from Holland by Captain Derek Booker ( founder of Lagan Legacy) in 2010 and opened in 2012 .
Housing a Maritime Museum, and Multi-Functional event space we are a registered wedding venue. We are fully licenced venue with full bar facilities onboard.
We are available for private, public and corporate hire and with full PA and lighting system, screen and projector we can accommodate all needs.
